Like every Tuesday, WWE celebrates a new NXT show in which The New Day will take its first steps as NXT Tag Team Champions. Additionally, Toxic Attraction will face Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile in a tag team match. Remember that you can follow us on our Twitter account to be aware of everything. Before the start of the show, all the results left by NXT Deadline are shown.
The show officially begins with Roxanne Perez being greeted with applause by the fans at the Performance Center. However, when she was thanking the public, she was interrupted by Grayson Waller, who indicated that he was the winner and the next NXT champion. Roxanne stops him and states that she also won the ‘Iron Survivor Challenge with even more merit since she did it before him. Waller ignores him and indicates that he will not be able to beat Mandy Rose.
Immediately afterward, Bron Breakker appears and comes to the defense of Roxanne Perez, stating that she will be the next NXT champion. Grayson Waller continues the taunts and claims that he will beat Breakker. Given this, the NXT champion decides to attack him, which Waller runs. Finally, Mandy Rose appears and hits Perez from behind.
Backstage, JD McDonagh is being attended to by a doctor for an injury when The Creed Brothers appear. McDonagh mocks their bond as brothers, to which Julius and Brutus challenge him to a fight tonight.
Back in the ring, Roxanne Perez takes the microphone and proposes to Mandy Rose to advance the fight for the NXT Women’s Championship tonight, which the title owner accepts.
Wes Lee goes to the ring for his fight against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, but the latter attacks him from behind. The North American champion defends himself, and they hit each other until they reach the ring and start the fight.
- Wes Lee wins by the count of three against Channing «Stacks» Lorenzo.
After the fight, DIJAK appears, heading to the ring. As he is about to reach the ring, Wes Lee is attacked by Tony D’Angelo.
Backstage, Andre Chase and Thea Hail find Drew Gulak conversing with Duke Hudson. Chase apologizes for the treatment he had with him last week. Hudson accepts and tells him he should think about his fight against Damon Kemp tonight.
Katana Chance and Kayden Carter enter the ring to be commentators in the match between Toxic Attraction against Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley for a shot at the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships.
- The fight is left without result after Katana Chance and Kayden Carter attack Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, and later, the three teams attack each other.
Backstage, Fallon Henley is depressed about not having participated in the women’s ‘Iron Survivor Challenge,’ to which Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs try to cheer her up, stating that great things are coming for her.
Elsewhere backstage, Trick Williams shows a photo of Carmelo Hayes, where he is outshone by Axiom in their fight on Saturday. Angry, Hayes assures that he will take care of the Spanish superstar and also asks Williams to delete that post, to which his partner tells him that it is unlikely.
Odyssey Jones enters the ring, accompanied by Malik Blade and Edris Enofé, for his fight against Von Wagner.
- Odyssey Jones defeats Von Wagner, thanks to interference from his teammates.
As is becoming customary, Javier Bernal is interviewed by McKenzie.
Ikemen Hiro goes to the ring for his fight against Javier Bernal.
- Ikemen Hiro takes the victory after defeating Javier Bernal by a count of three. After the match, Hiro is attacked by Scrypts.
The new NXT Tag Team Champions arrive in the ring on the New Day. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods talk about what an outstanding achievement they got on NXT Deadline while the public tells them they deserve it.
Woods reminds the fans that Kofi reached 15 championships won in WWE. Likewise, he remembers that his first match in NXT was against Big E. When they were about to dance, Pretty Deadly interrupted the faction.
Xavier Woods alludes to England’s elimination from the World Cup, which, added to their defeat at Deadline, is why both Kit Wilson and Elton Prince are sad. Immediately afterward, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs appear in the segment and ask the new champions for a starting opportunity, a challenge they accept for the next week.
JD McDonagh enters the ring for his fight against Brutus Creed.
Before the match, Elektra Lopez is shown backstage mocking Indi Hartwell’s loss on NXT Deadline, to which the Australian superstar appears to attack her.
- JD McDonagh defeats Brutus Creed after applying his finisher. McDonagh went to attack Brutus with a chair during the fight but was stopped by InduSher (Sanga and Veer Mahaan).
Backstage, McKenzie interviews Zoey Stark and tells her about the TikTok video of Nikkita Lyons making fun of her. Stark emphasizes to the interviewer that she is not going to answer for nonsense and that she will only take care of the excellent talent in NXT. However, she invites Lyons to the ring to face each other at any time.
A promo for Isla Dawn is shown, where he talks about his fight against Alba Fyre and the mysterious liquid with which he could stop the referee. Dawn claims that she is powerful and capable of manipulating anyone.
Lyra Valkyria makes her return to action to play her fight against Amari Miller.
- Lyra Valkyria defeats Amari Miller for a count of 3 after applying her finisher.
Backstage, McKenzie interviews Axiom and asks about Carmelo Hayes’ upset about what happened at NXT Deadline. Axiom indicates that he is not afraid of Hayes since he is not as good as he appears to be, and he will check it out next week.
Duke Hudson enters the ring for his fight against Damon Kemp.
Brooks Jensen is chatting with Kiana James backstage. She gives him a new shirt and asks him to wear it from now on. Also, she tells him that she must win the Couples Championships next week. Later, Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley are shown having a heated conversation with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Suddenly, Toxic Attraction appears, and both teams are attacked, leading to a fight between all the superstars.
- Duke Hudson takes the victory against Damon Kemp by means of a Big Boot. During the match, Drew Gulak appeared and argued with Andre Chase, to whom he said that Hudson would decide who to go with soon.
Roxanne Perez heads to the ring for her match against Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship.
- Roxanne Perez defeats Mandy Rose and becomes the new NXT Women’s Champion!
