Update on the lawsuit filed by MLW against WWE for possible monopoly and unfair competition.
On January 11 of this year, Fightful reported that Major League Wrestling had filed a lawsuit against WWE for monopoly and unfair competition. According to the lawsuit’s content, MLW denounced several attempts by WWE to pressure third-party companies so that they did not sign or abandon agreements with said companies, including VICE TV.
After months without news, PWInsider has reported that the lawsuit will probably go ahead. However, they indicate that the process can be extended until the fall of next year and that the next step would be taken in February 2023, the date on which both Major League Wrestling and WWE will have to present evidence for their respective allegations.
At the moment, there is no news on how the company today, led by Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon, will act in the face of this lawsuit for monopoly and unfair competition since it must be remembered that these alleged practices occurred with Vince McMahon as CEO so that we will be Stay tuned for future updates on the case.
