The New Day will challenge Pretty Deadly for the NXT Tag Team Title at Deadline.
Just four days before NXT Deadline, the last Premium Live Event of the year, WWE continues to prepare the billboard for the event since up to now, we had four confirmed fights, and it was expected that at least one more would be added, and that’s how it ended being.
Pretty Deadly gave a promo in the ring in which they told a Christmas story, but suddenly, they were unexpectedly interrupted by The New Day. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods stepped into the ring and directly challenged Pretty Deadly to a match for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Deadline. Wilson and Prince hit Woods and Kingston, although they managed to finish off the champions. The fight became official later.

The New Day will have the opportunity to become NXT Tag Team Champions for the first time in their entire career and, in this way, be another of the teams to win all the WWE team titles.
