Shun Skywalker becomes the new MLW Middleweight Champion.
Since the beginning of the year, Myron Reed has been the MLW Middleweight Champion, and during these months, he has left rivals like Tajiri or Bandido behind. However, one of his most challenging starting defenses came tonight since he clinched the title in March.
During this week’s episode of MLW Fusion, Myron Reed put the MLW Middleweight Championship on the line against Shun Skywalker in the night’s main event. After a hard fight, Skywalker defeated Reed and became the new champion. Davey Richards celebrated the victory with him after the match.

This is Shun Skywalker’s first title in his second match in MLW, and being an active Dragon Gate Pro Wrestling wrestler. Both companies signed an agreement last year, and we have seen different appearances by Dragon Gate fighters in MLW. Although this episode of Fusion aired in December, the recordings took place in September.
