MJF walks out of AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming 2022 with the world title and ring.
MJF and Ricky Starks have gone from being the promises of All Elite Wrestling to be the company’s present. As AEW World Champion and bearer of the Dynamite Diamond Ring, Maxwell Jacob Friedman came to this special episode of Dynamite Winter is Coming intending to take down Ricky Starks and leave with the title and the ring.
MJF ended up getting the win after landing a low blow without the referee being able to see it. Ricky Starks had some big moments and came close to winning, but Maxwell brought out his inner mischief and cheated to win. After the fight, Bryan Danielson appeared to try to attack MJF, although without success.
This way, MJF gets his first title defense of the world title. He got hold of it at Full Gear 2022 just under a month ago, beating Jon Moxley after enlisting the help of William Regal. Now, Max must focus on his next challenger. On the other hand, this is the first opportunity Starks has had for this championship, but he will probably have more in the future.
