Mia Yim closes her Twitter account after receiving insults and ridicule for a photo with Austin Theory.
Social networks can often become a “double-edged sword” for most media characters. In the case of wrestling, many fighters have been forced to leave social networks like Twitter due to receiving a wave of insults or mockery for something specific. Mia Yim has been the last person affected by this.
Recently, WWE published an image in which Mia Yim and Austin Theory appear together. Many users began to mention their partner, Keith Lee, making bad jokes and criticizing Yim for this photograph with the current United States Champion. On Tuesday, Yim commented that she would start blocking many people, but she finally decided to close her Twitter account hours later.
Mia Yim returned to WWE last month and has since been a part of The OC and wrestled in the Survivor Series 2022 Women’s ‘WarGames Match.’ Now, she is off social media, and we will see if she returns soon after receiving numerous nasty messages.
