The match began with Ilia Topuria putting a lot of pressure on Bryce Mitchell with a high volume of punches and keeping their distance, avoiding going on the ground. However, Mitchell managed to get Topuria to the bottom finishing the first ground. The second round began in the same way as the first, although Topuria managed to knock Mitchell down for the first time and managed to end the fight on the ground by executing an arm triangle.

With this victory, Ilia Topuria maintains his undefeated fighting record and reaffirms his position as one of the title contenders in the featherweight division. Although Ilia has stated his intention to face Paddy Pimblett during the post-fight interview, he has expressed his desire to meet a top five in the division. We will have to wait and see who will be Ilia Topuria’s next opponent in his rise from featherweight.
