More details about John Cena’s return to WWE SmackDown are revealed during the December 30 edition.
As confirmed by WWE, John Cena will be back on SmackDown during the December 30 edition. Even though the appearance of the 16-time World Champion in the blue brand has yet to be announced, some details about said appearance have been released.
As reported by Fightful Select, the company intends to promote Cena’s appearance heavily. Furthermore, it has been debated that ‘Mr. Hustle Loyalty and Respect ‘appeared telematically in one of the remaining shows until his return, and it could be said appearance even during tonight’s show.
John Cena is set to appear on December 30 on WWE Smackdown, but there has been talking of seeing him sooner.
Fightful Select was informed that there had been discussions within WWE and even plans to integrate John Cena into the next episodes of Smackdown, even before it arrives. Some of the meetings included a “video presence” of some kind, but the extent of that was unknown.
WWE sources have confirmed that it was one of the things announced to promote Smackdown this week. We’ve been told that Cena’s appearance will be heavily promoted over the next two weeks and that they wanted the December 30 show to be a “must-see.”
It should be noted that the one on December 30 will be Cena’s first appearance in the blue brand for more than a year, his last appearance in a Dark Match on September 11, 2022, being his last television appearance during the previous show to SummerSlam 2021.
