Tony Khan reveals the current status of Trent Seven with AEW.
In the most recent edition of AEW Rampage, Trent Seven made his company debut to play a match against Orange Cassidy for the All-Atlantic Championship. Despite the defeat, Seven left a pleasant impression, and since then, the possibility of seeing him more often in the company has been questioned.
This question was answered by Tony Khan recently after ROH Final Battle. Khan indicated that Trent Seven could have more appearances, including in Ring of Honor. Likewise, he praised the performance of the English fighter in his fight.
He’s been in Texas; he wrestled on ‘AEW Rampage’ last night and could appear with us again. She competed and was here observing the show. He could be a good match for any champion in Ring of Honor. He was great in the championship match on Friday.
With a past in WWE, Trent Seven would be an excellent acquisition for ROH, considering Tony Khan’s plans for said promotion in the long term. Therefore, it would be familiar to see Tyler Bate’s former partner more often in the company once he officially signs with it.
