CJ Perry (known as Lana in WWE) assured Miro would return to WWE at some point.
One of the most talked about names in AEW is, without a doubt, Miro. Since the latter has been absent from programming for several months, everything would suggest that it would be due to an injury. However, this is not the case since the AEW fighter is in optimal condition. With the arrival of Paul Levesque to the creative control of WWE, several fighters and workers wanted to return to the company.
Miro could be one of those cases since, through a talk on 92.7 WMAY, CJ Perry (known in WWE as Lana and Miro’s current wife) acknowledged that the All Elite Wrestling fighter would return to WWE at some point. It should be remembered that Miro (known in WWE as Rusev) has been absent from AEW programming since last September and without creative plans for him.
Rusev Day will never die. He will always be there, the kids will want to sing it, and I’m sure he will return to WWE at some point. Rusev, well, whatever name, gimmick, or character he eventually returns to WWE with, will be iconic.
You know, him, that’s the great thing about wrestling that it doesn’t matter what company you work for, what promotion, anything can happen. We know that everyone always comes back to WWE at some point.
H/T to Fightful.
We have to leave towards September 4 to see the last match of the former TNT Champion in the company, since together with Darby Allin and Sting, they defeated House of Black. That absence would have a reason since, according to Dave Meltzer, Miro reveals he allegedly rejected a proposal from Tony Khan in which he was scheduled to lose at the Full Gear PPV in November.
