In an interview, Austin Theory talked about his failed Money in the Bank briefcase exchange.
One of the revelation superstars that we have had during this 2022 has been, without a doubt, Austin Theory. The young WWE superstar has broken several records and reaped the United States Championship twice. One of those records, she was crowned as the youngest superstar in WWE history to get the Money in the Bank briefcase.
However, his career as ” Mr. Money in the Bank” was not the best possible since several weeks ago, his exchange on Seth Rollins for the United States Championship failed. After the recent WWE PLE, Survivor Series WarGames, Theory interviewed BT Sport, where he talked about this event in his career. Furthermore, he also spoke about his character change.
I never thought I’d have cash-in failed, but I’d be one of those guys, but I’d say for me, the whole process that day of losing the Money in the Bank contract and kind of like, where do I go now? I hit rock bottom; now what? And to have this renewal of personality and bring out this different kind of energy that people aren’t used to from Austin Theory changes everything. It’s excellent and looking at the long term; it can only evolve and improve.
It’s just as wild as it’s been for everyone else. You go from being so used to something to a quick change and, more or less, that rapid change changes everything, but for the better, I think, because, for me, it was an opportunity for Austin Theory to evolve and go to the next level and, You know, I can’t take selfies forever and be a goofball, so it’s about finding that next chapter and what’s going to lead me to become a world champion, and I think we’re on the right track.
Even though he hit bottom after failing to redeem the Money in the Bank briefcase, Austin Theory has risen from the bottom to be crowned again as United States Champion. During Survivor Series WarGames, he defeated Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat. Everything indicates that Theory would have a very bright future in WWE after this character change.
